International Consumer Electronics Show (CES)

2008 CES - The World's largest technology tradeshow

CES is the world's largest consumer technology tradeshow. But more importantly, it's really several shows within a show. Enter one part of the show floor to find more in-vehicle technology exhibitors than any other event. Step into another area to discover the world of home theater and video. And for markets that span all others, like wireless communications, the companies and products weave through every hall.

The International CES features 2,700 exhibitors spanning 30 product categories from markets including audio, digital content creation and distribution, digital imaging, embedded technology, gaming (digital entertainment), high-performance audio & home theater, video, home networking, in-vehicle technology and wireless.

Today's world is a digital one, where content progressively drives consumer technology sales. Music, movies, games. Text, audio files, pictures. Content is any sound or image delivered to an audience through a CE product. It's at the heart of consumer technology, and CES is at the heart of it all. Content is everywhere at CES. It spans all consumer technology markets, every product, each part of the show floor. Experience the art of content at CES.

Register now for the 2008 International CES, January 7-10, Las Vegas, Nev.

Content Exhibitors:
Major content production companies like 20th Century Fox, Dreamworks Animation and The Walt Disney Company attend CES to investigate new technology and solidify partnerships. Content companies like Movielink, NBC Universal and Yahoo! exhibit at CES among 2,700 other consumer technology companies that all rely on the creation, production or distribution of content to succeed. "We had a record-breaking show with 2,700 exhibitors filling more than 1.8 million net square feet of show space," said Karen Chupka, senior vice president of events and conferences at CEA. "The shift of our high-performance audio and home theater exhibitors to the Venetian, the 23 Tech Zones and the focus on qualified trade attendees combined to produce what many called the best ever International CES. We also set a record with international attendance of over 26,000."

The CES show floor buzzed with more than 20,000 exciting product launches and major partnership announcements, spanning across industries and connecting consumers with more features, services and control of the content incorporated into electronic devices. A new convergence of CE devices emerged on the show floor, combining existing product categories with new digital content and services to create unique, multi-functional products.
