CITA——A Stage For Demonstration And Exchange

　　China international forklifts and parts exposition, organized by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shanghai Sub-council and China Industrial Truck Association (CITA) for 3 years, is gradually growing and has been attracted worldwide attention. The scale of CITA 2008 is estimated to exceed 20,000 square meters from 5,000 square meters in 2004 to 15,500 square meters in 2007.

　　CITA is gradually transforming into the world’s first-class in influence and scale, mainly manifesting in the following several aspects: the scale is growing in jumps, the exhibits’ structure and grade is optimizing and upgrading steadily, the proportion of the international exhibitors and audiences keeps increasing, exhibition is constantly enriching , the brand effect is increasingly expanding, and the popularity and reputation are unceasingly enhancing.

CITA2007 – A Milestone In The Grand Gathering

　　The previous session of CITA was held at Shanghai Everbright Convention ＆ Exhibition Center from July 3 to July 5, 2007. For the purpose of building a platform to encourage competition, promote cooperation and make a Leap forward,CITA2007 took the "competition, cooperation, leap" as its themes.

CITA2008——reloaded, going into battle and bringing about brilliancy again

　　CITA 2008, reloaded, will be held at Shanghai Everbright Convention ＆ Exhibition Center from July 23 to July 25 ,2008.First, CITA 2008 will use 3 floors of the Shanghai Everbright Convention ＆ Exhibition Center for the first time, and its scale will exceed 20,000 square meters. Next, the Exhibition Organizing Committee is already gradually matured, and will Shift the macro-guidance and supervision into overall planning, deployment and the implementation of the concrete work, and raise the organization and service level to a new level. Finally, we will continue to strengthen the effort to make publicity and recruit investment for the CITA 2008, expand its worldwide influence, attract more exhibitors and audiences, and make it become a top-class feast in this field.

　　After three years’ accumulation, CITA has already become one of the world’s biggest exhibitions in forklift profession. In recent years, along with the adjustment and transfer of industrial structure in the world and Chinese economy experiencing sustained and rapid growth, CITA is developing rapidly with the large scale and growing influence, attracting domestic and foreign enterprises’ positive participation with the warm concern. 　　CITA is featured with internationalization in three aspects: internationalization of organizers, exhibitors and audiences.

　　As a well-known international brand, CITA 2007 has attracted a large number of overseas exhibitors, which accounted for 21.3% in all the exhibitors.

　　Traveling thousands of miles, a great amount of overseas professionals have come to visit CITA 2007, 3,852 from overseas in all the professionals received,, an increase of 39.6% compared with last year.

　　After China’s entry into WTO, Chinese government and profession associations have taken various measures to enhanced the public’s consciousness of intellectual property rights, and make law and regulations to punish the damage behavior of intellectual property rights.
