Vietnam Comm / Vietnam Electronics 2009, Vietnam International Communications Summit 2009 becomes the spotlighted event for ICT professionals in both Vietnam and its neighboring countries.
The official announcement of four 3G licenses this year marked an important milestone for 3G products, technologies and solutions deployment and application in Vietnam, whereas the official launch of 3G services by local operators in October led to a new wave of discussion and attention on future ICT development in Vietnam. Thus, being held concurrently with Vietnam Comm / Vietnam Electronics 2009, Vietnam International Communications Summit 2009 becomes the spotlighted event for ICT professionals in both Vietnam and its neighboring countries.As the most influential and effective platform for ICT professionals to grasp market intelligence, exchange technology information and share business development experience, the high-level summit featuring numerous ICT hot topics will be held during 19 - 20 November, 2009 at Hanoi Horison Hotel. First day of the summit will kick off the high-level discussion under the main theme "Vietnam's ICT Development Now & Beyond and ICT Development Trend in the World". Representative from the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) will present the strategic plan and regulation policy for Vietnam's ICT development. Following that will be the presentation on strategies towards opportunities and challenges in the economic crisis time by Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT), the largest telecom operator in Vietnam. Furthermore, globally renowned operators, NTT DOCOMO will share its new approach to business and Orange France Telecom will share on topic "Development in Partnership for Emerging Countries". Finally, Ministry of Education and Training will share with us "ICT Applications in Education, Vietnam". This best exemplifies how ICT development and convergence increase the operation effectiveness in government service and improve the daily lives of the end-users.
More hot topics on technology innovations and applications for business and life will be discussed, including "3G Mobile Broadband Services for Economic Development & Better Quality of Life" and "Modern Enterprises Communications". Speakers come from renowned industry players such as Ericsson Vietnam, Huawei, NOEMA, PCCW Global and ZTE among others.
The latest launch of 3G services and related devices greatly enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of people's business and daily lives while the modern technologies also demonstrate higher degree of integration. To cope with this, the second day of summit under the theme of "Network Development & Management Trend in the Integration Era" will discuss about the future network development trend, solutions for better network optimization and application ideas from technology convergence, this is definitely a session with which communications professionals cannot miss.
